Afroremit currently supports only Visa, Mastercard and pesapal e-wallet account owners to send money to Uganda at the time of this writing. The company takes a 3% commission for each transaction. This might be low compared to 10% rate that Moneygram and Western Union charge. The company now joins Remit.ug, worldremit, western union, moneygram plus banks among other money transfer service providers that support sending money to Uganda.
