Dstv Uganda Hikes Subscription Fees As The Shilling Weakens Against The Dollar

The DStv packages have increased as follows. DStv Access Bouquet at $10 has increased from Ugx 26,000 to 28,750 DStv Family at $20 has increased from Ugx 52,000 to 57,500 DStv Compact at $28 has increased from Ugx 72,800 to 94,875 DStv Compact Plus at $48 has increased from Ugx 124,800 to 155,250 DStv Premium at $78 has increased from Ugx 202,800 to 241,500 PVR and XtraView subscription incurrs an extra UGX 28,750 on all the above rates. They complained about the lack of Free-to-Air channels that DStv doesn’t offer and the absence of toll free lines to get in touch with customer care. Customers have had to incur call charges when getting in touch with  customer care. This among lot’s of complaints were expressed.
