The Infinix Zero 2 X509 will succeed the Infinix Zero X506 which was released last year and garnered lots of media attention from smartphone enthusiasts and reviewers. The Infinix Zero 2 also known to be the Next Infinix Hero with sport a 2.0GHz octa mediatek processor compared to the the first Infinix Zero that had a 1.4Ghz Octacore processor. Another upgrade is the front-facing camera which will have 5MP up from 2MP and 16/32GB internal memory up from 8GB. But the most exciting upgrade here is RAM. The Infinix Zero 2 will have 2GB of RAM instead of 1GB that the original Infinix Zero 2 506 had. The Zero will have 2300-2600mAh battery according to rumors compared to the original Zero’s 1920mAh battery. It’s also believed that the Infinix Zero 2 will be upgradable to Android Lollipop. The first Infinix Zero X506 was priced at $130.15 (25,900 Nigeria Naira) while while the Infinix Zero 2 X509  will be priced at $140.70 (about 28,000 Naira, 422,240 Uganda Shilling or 13,367.77 Kenya Shilling) according to Nigerian forum Nairaland. When released the device will be available in Nigeria first and foremost. We suspect it will come to Kenya and most likely Uganda exclusively through the respective Jumia online stores.
